Lars Remodeling & Design has been serving the San Diego area for more than 31 years, handling everything from design and planning to permitting and the building process. To learn more about the business, the Point Loma-OB Monthly posed the following questions to Marisa Ramirez, the director of marketing.

Q. What is your business’s mission? Who founded it?

A. Lars Remodeling & Design was started in March 1991 by Jason Larson. We celebrate over 30 years serving the San Diego area. We exist to be the benchmark of excellence for San Diego’s custom home and remodeling industry.

Our mission is to provide our clients with the highest-level design, construction and customer service. We believe in using the best building professionals, products and techniques. Our commitment to our clients’ success is rooted in effective communication, collaboration and accountability.

Q. What services do you offer?

A. We’re an award-winning design-build contractor. Services we offer include whole-home remodels, second-story additions, kitchen and bathroom remodels, room additions, accessory dwelling units and custom homes.

Q. Do you have examples of projects you’ve done in Point Loma-Ocean Beach?

A. We have completed several projects and currently have projects underway in Point Loma-Ocean Beach. We share our portfolio of work on our website gallery page for inspiration.
