Man stabbed outside Midway District store

A 30-year-old man was stabbed the morning of Dec. 16 outside a 7-Eleven store in the Midway District, San Diego police said.

The stabbing was reported around 5:35 a.m. near the store on Sports Arena Boulevard near Camino del Rio West, west of Interstate 5, police Officer Sarah Foster said.

Officers found that the man had been stabbed in an arm, Foster said. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Foster said a witness told officers that the man and another person were arguing before the stabbing occurred. The stabbing victim declined to provide additional details, she said.

A description of the assailant was not immediately available.
