16th ArtWalk @ Liberty Station set for Aug. 7-8

ArtWalk @ Liberty Station will return to Ingram Plaza on Saturday, Aug. 7, and Sunday, Aug. 8, marking the fine-arts show’s 16th year.

Guests will have the opportunity to see and buy artwork from local, national and international artists in a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, glasswork, jewelry, photography and more.

The annual ArtWalk @ Liberty Station returned under cloudy, rainy skies Nov. 7-8, though that didn’t stop art lovers from taking advantage of the chance to buy works from more than 150 local, regional and international professional artists in a variety of media, including jewelry, sculpture, oil painting, photography and glass, metal and wood works.

Each of ArtWalk San Diego’s three annual festivals supports nonprofit partner ArtReach San Diego, which works to increase equity in visual arts education in San Diego County by delivering free or low-cost workshops to schools that have no other resources for art.

ArtWalk @ Liberty Station will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. Attendance is free. Ingram Plaza is at 2751 Dewey Road, Point Loma. For more information, visit artwalksandiego.org.

Arts District at Liberty Station offers scavenger hunt
