ArtWalk @ Liberty Station returned to the Point Loma commercial and cultural center’s Ingram Plaza on Aug. 7-8 for the fine-arts show’s 16th year.

Guests could see and buy artwork from more than 200 local, national and international artists in a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, glasswork, jewelry, photography and more.

After the 2020 edition was held in November at Liberty Station’s North Promenade and Luce Court with many coronavirus-related requirements and restrictions, this year’s festival also featured virus-related safety protocols, including sanitation stations and asking unvaccinated guests to wear masks.

Along with the art, the event featured live music, a beer and wine garden and a food court.

Each of ArtWalk San Diego’s three annual festivals supports nonprofit partner ArtReach San Diego, which works to increase equity in visual arts education in San Diego County by delivering free or low-cost workshops to schools that have no other resources for art.
