Man, 68, dies in Point Loma crash

A 68-year-old man was killed in an early-morning car crash in Point Loma on Dec. 4, according to San Diego police.
The crash occurred just before 4 a.m. at the intersection of Lytton and Rosecrans streets north of Liberty Station. The man who died was driving a Chevrolet east on Lytton when the car entered the intersection and collided with a Nissan Altima being driven by a 27-year-old man south on Rosecrans, police said.
The older man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not immediately identified. The other driver was taken to a hospital with what police described as minor injuries.
