A bicyclist was seriously injured the afternoon of April 7 in a collision with a minivan in Point Loma, San Diego police said.

The 31-year-old man was riding north in the 500 block of Catalina Boulevard when his bike collided with a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country minivan that was trying to turn left onto Garden Lane, according to the Police Department.

The bicyclist suffered a fractured collarbone, fractured left wrist and lacerations, police said. The 80-year-old woman driving the van was not injured.

Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash, according to police.
