The Ocean Beach Town Council presented its annual OBies Awards to honor locals for their service to the community during a dinner Oct. 18 at Wonderland Ocean Pub in OB.

The winners are:

• Lifetime Achievement Award: Trudy Levenson, a 14-year OBTC board member

• Citizens of the Year: Chris and Joella Peregoy, owners of Ocean Business Business Center

• Philanthropist of the Year: Christie and Tony Romano

• Community Partner: Chris Dainty, general manager of Wonderland Ocean Pub

• Business of the Year: OB Hardware, owned by Jenae and Joe Kuchman

• Community Advocate of the Year: San Diego Police Department Community Relations Officer David Surwilo

• Keeping OB Clean: Brett Kehler

• Artist of the Year: Jim Grant
