Motorcyclist is killed in crash in Midway District

A 22-year-old man who authorities say was speeding on a motorcycle was killed when the vehicle crashed in the Midway District the night of Feb. 25.
The man, riding a 2020 Triumph, was traveling east on Midway Drive when the motorcycle struck a curb at the intersection of Barnett Avenue at about 9:45 p.m., the San Diego Police Department reported. The motorcycle then struck a wall. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved.
