Man shot while sitting in car on Sunset Cliffs Boulevard in Ocean Beach

A 32-year-old man drove himself to a hospital after he suffered three gunshot wounds to his left shoulder while sitting in a car in Ocean Beach, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at about 9:20 p.m. Aug. 19 at 1370 Sunset Cliffs Blvd., according to San Diego police Officer Robert Heims.
The man was sitting in a car with a female companion when they heard several shots, Heims said. The man was wounded but the woman was not hit, Heims said.
The man’s injuries were not considered life-threatening, the officer said.
No information about the shooter was available.
